This revival project is based on a typeface found in a 1809 edition of Gabriel Peignot's "Livres Condamnés Au Feu; Supprimés Ou Censurés".
The original typeface (which I haven't been able to identify) is a Didone font, with slab serifs and medium contrast. The original book presents a few character variants which I'm currently working on!
